NEW ADVANTAGE CORP. ANNOUNCES IN-HOUSE TESTING FOR RoHS COMPLIANCE

St. Petersburg, FL; 12 September 2006

Announced today by New Advantage Corporation, a leading independent and franchised stocking distributor for all types of electronic components: New Advantage Corp. is one of the first distributors in the industry to offer in-house RoHS compliancy testing of electronic components, PCB's, and other materials required for electronics manufacturing. The test provides chemical content analysis of all RoHS elements and standardized documentation of the test results utilizing a state of the art XRF Hazardous Substance Analyzer, which utilizes X-Ray Fluorescence technology. This value-added service is being offered in direct response to problems and needs reported by their customers following the mandated RoHS compliance deadline of July 1st, 2006.

New Advantage has completed the installation and calibration of the new Horiba XFT-1000WR scanning equipment in its' Head QC Department, located in New Advantage's international headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL.

Customers find themselves faced with the overwhelming task of collecting and verifying RoHS compliance documentation from their supplier base. Test houses, distributors, manufactures, and other sources of components and materials have different methods and formats of RoHS certification with various levels of sophistication. Typically, they may receive inconsistent and incomplete documentation stating RoHS compliancy. Plus they face high cost and long lead/turn around times.

New Advantage is one of the first distributors in the world that offers in-house testing for RoHS compliancy. In addition, no other company with this technology can offer the short lead times New Advantage can currently support or match their low cost, which reinforces their status as one of the leading cutting-edge and comprehensive electronics distributors in the industry.

"By utilizing New Advantage for RoHS testing, our customers will always receive our Certificate of Compliance, a Certified RoHS Compliance Report which is in conjunction with IPC Class II compliance report, and a "Lead Free/RoHS Compliant" sticker on the packaging, helping to streamline and standardize their compliance documentation process. It will also mitigate the risk of non-compliance to global and national restricted substances regulation." stated John Hartnett, Quality/ISO Manager for New Advantage. "Our ISO certification assures that our customers will receive uniform, easy to understand documentation for each and every order that requires RoHS certification". A "Contains Lead (Pb)" sticker will be used when appropriate and required.

New Advantage currently offers all three phases of testing:
Spectrum Analysis; Material Analysis; and Finished Product Testing.
